It’s late one cold winter night
Isabel looks up at the sky
She’s afraid her life’s past her by
She met the boy of her dreams
When she was seventeen
She didn’t believe in love, so she threw it away

Like whispers in the wind
A poet’s silent yell
Gone are the dreams of enchanting Isabel
She left them with her love
By the railway track
She turned and walked away

Its 10 long years since that day
When Isabel threw it all away
Now she’s do anything just to see his face
But she’ll fall in love again
She’s only twenty seven
But she’s afraid she’ll throw it all away
